Verdict
It is hard to pick holes in the form of this season's Vodafone Oaks at present and a handful of today's runners renewal rivalries here. Shadow Dancing just emerged as best of the rest on that occasion and is the one they will all have to pass again here. The trip holds no fears for her and she has acted on varying ground in her five outings so far - registering a smooth success in the Cheshire Oaks as her most notable achievement so far. Starbourne would not need to have come on too much to reverse the form with Shadow Dancing but all her best efforts have come with plenty of juice in the ground. Alexander Three D and Red Rioja on the other-hand, will need to better their Epsom form to figure but the more conventional course should be in their favour today. Succinct, Mubkera and Irresistible Jewel have done little wrong so far and should improve for the step up in trip, whereas Barzah has a bit to find after failing to land the odds in her Oaks trial last time. Darinska is the potential fly in the ointment but has to prove that she handles a faster surface.
