Verdict

Sent off favourite for the 2000 Guineas, TEN SOVEREIGNS failed to see out the mile trip at Newmarket. But he was unbeaten over 6f as a two-year-old culminating with a victory in the Group 1 Middle Park. The Ballydoyle colt beat Jash on that occasion and the latter will likely prove a threat once again having landed the odds at Headquarters on last month’s reappearance. Rumble Inthejungle finished behind the latter pair in the Middle Park while Advertise was nowhere near his best in last month’s 2000 Guineas and is another dropping back down in distance having won the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes over today’s trip at the Curragh last season. Hello Youmzain had Royal Intervention back in third when landing a Group 2 at Haydock and handles soft ground while Khaadem and Forever In Dreams are both Listed winners needing to take a big step forward and Konchek has a bit to find with a couple of these.
