Verdict
Sealiway won the 2021 renewal and Horizon Dore sports the same colours having shown progressive form in France, culminating in a Group 2 success at Longchamp last month. Bay Bridge landed this returning from a break last year but had a hard race in the Arc earlier this month and was beaten by MOSTAHDAF here before the latter won the Juddmonte International at York. The switch to the inner course should avoid extremes of going so the Gosdens’ charge gets the vote. My Prospero and stablemate Dubai Honour were both beaten in this last year but Frankie gets the leg-up on King Of Steel, who could only manage fourth in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown when ahead of Point Lonsdale but won the King Edward VII Stakes here in June. Via Sistina won the Group 1 Pretty Polly on a trip over to Ireland before going close in France and is preferred to Royal Rhyme.
