Verdict
It is likely to take something special to overcome the unbeaten Group 1 winner Caravaggio, who began his three-year-old career by demolishing the field in a decent race at Naas. But he is up against better rivals today. Harry Angel was an impressive winner at Haydock and if he settles, can push the likely favourite close, as can Blue Point, who had Harry Angel behind him in second when winning his seasonal debut over course and distance. But BOUND FOR NOWHERE could be the type to spring a surprise given Wesley Ward's charge stormed home on fast ground in a prep-race at Keeneland in April and his trainer’s Ascot record demands respect. Visionary won a Listed race at Newbury but would have to improve considerably to feature here while Tis Marvellous has plenty of ability but has not built on his French Group 2 win last year and Yalta has looked short of this class so far.
