Verdict
Serena Botherton won this last year and also scored for Brian Ellison in 2010. The leading lady amateur rides the in-form Robero for the Yorkshire handler though her mount's hat-trick has been completed at Class 5 level. Ellison also runs Chester winner Echo Of Lightning, another taking a step-up in class, and Burning Blaze. Katie Walsh has been brought over to ride Secret Glance for Richard Rowe and the Chepstow winner has to be respected while Nina Carberry takes the ride on topweight Fieldsman, a winner over the trip at Newmarket in May. SAKHEE'S RETURN was in cracking form at this time last year scoring on quick ground at Haydock and York. He was in need of the run on his reappearance at the beginning of the month and looks a sporting bet to land this for the Easterbys.
