Verdict

LOVE did well to land the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes here last month considering she was returning from a lengthy break and racing over a trip too short. She will have come on a bundle for the run and looks the one to beat on her three Group 1 victories in this country last season which included both the 1000 Guineas and the Oaks. Fellow filly Wonderful Tonight won the Hardwicke Stakes here last month but that was on her favoured soft ground. There are also going concerns surrounding Epsom Derby winner Adayar but he probably holds Irish Derby runner-up Lone Eagle on a line through stablemate Hurricane Lane. Mishriff won the Dubai Sheema Classic over this trip but is generally thought better over 1m2f, though shouldn’t be ignored.
