Verdict
The Saeed Bin Suroor-trained Perfectperformance could be the key to this, with Wilko and Grand Marque posing the biggest threats. The latter has a little to find with his two main rivals, but has not really done much wrong in his races to date. The son of Grand Lodge finished a neck behind Wilko when the two clashed in the Champagne Stakes earlier this month - an effort that entitles him to plenty of respect. However, Wilko is still unexposed at this trip and there could well be more to come from him now that he is stepped up to a mile. Elliot's World also took his chance in the same Doncaster contest but appears held on a literal reading of the form, while Bekhampsted will also be a big danger if there is sufficient rain in the area before the off. However, Perfectperformance sets a good standard on what he has achieved to date and he can kick-start the meeting for followers of Frankie Dettori hoping for another magnificent day at the Italian's favourite course.
