In depth

Verdict

Pyramid Place was being aimed at the Boodles before a poor run in a Grade 2 at Kempton and has already won three times. Tinnahalla wasn’t winning out of turn at Catterick and should give a good account and Wetherby winner First Impression has a turn of foot, though needs to brush up his jumping. Leylak ran a shocker last time at Southwell but cheekpieces could bring about some improvement while Iron Heart beat older horses at Newbury. HERBIERS has just under three lengths to find with Siroco Jo on Newbury running but is 4lb better off and the Hereford winner may offer more value than the Nicholls’ runner.
