In depth

Verdict

Placed three times in bumpers, Headscarf Lil made a winning start over timber over 2m at Musselburgh. Nicky Richards also runs Royal Arcade, who won as he liked here 17 days ago having finished a very promising second at that track on his racecourse debut. But the one to beat is probably HENRY GONDOFF, who trounced a subsequent winner by 11 lengths over this trip at Wetherby with last week’s Kempton scorer Domaine De L’Isle even further behind. Fabuleux Du Clos has shown promise in bumpers but this is a tough start to his hurdling career.
