      Verdict

      It took ONEFORTHEGUTTER three attempts to show the benefit of a wind operation but won over track and trip last time and this looks no tougher despite a 4lb rise. Youthful King is upped 7lb for his latest success at Windsor while Gaassee showed signs of a return to form when fourth in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock and finishing ahead of Nolton Cross. Saratoga Gold beat Protected Guest earlier but has plenty to find with the selection and Max Mayhem is preferred representing last year’s winning trainer.
