In depth
Verdict
A valuable contest has understandably drawn a highly competitive field while the vagaries of the draw complicate matters further for the punter. Recent evidence suggests that a low draw may be preferable so with this in mind both Oakley Rambo and Perfect Storm who finished first and second respectively at Newbury last week may struggle to confirm the placings with the third home Zandicular from their position on the far side of the track. Zonergem is lightly raced and more than likely is capable of further improvement but does not look a straightforward ride and tends to find little under pressure while Adobe is well treated but has generally been below his best this season. Kareeb is on a long losing sequence while Mister Rambo has paid the price for his York win last month (now 9lb higher) and could struggle. Stretton is on a fair mark but is likely to find this on the sharp side so a tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Style Dancer. Tim Easterby's charge has been unlucky of late as he was badly hampered when third at Doncaster earlier in the month and was given too much to do when occupying the same position (Tony Tie behind and held) at Ayr on his latest outing. The son of Dancing Dissident should go well at attractive odds from a near side berth.
