Verdict
Flaminger made hard work of justifying favouritism at Fontwell but holds Little Light on the form book, though the second did nothing for the form at Stratford on Thursday. Capeland was unlucky in this last year, carried out by a stablemate at the last, and would have finished ahead of eventual fourth Caid Du Lin had he not been hampered. Amoola Gold made a winning reappearance at Wetherby but has 5lb more to carry and was behind Flaminger at Newbury in February. The longer trip on heavy ground at Huntingdon in March proved just too far for IBLEO but he’d won his first two starts over fences in the style of a useful performer and there should be more to come this winter
