      Verdict

Star Start and Ayr Poet are mostly consistent and the latter escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices' race at Beverley a week ago. Course specialist Glasses Up is a prolific winner at the track and is preferred to stablemate Tilsitt while Montevideo makes her handicap debut with scope for further progress. A maiden winner in France, STRESSFREE ran well at Redcar a fortnight ago on his handicap bow and first start for David O’Meara and he gets the vote with improvement expected.
