Verdict
Fieldsman won a better handicap than this at Newmarket a year ago but never replicated that form but he's changed stables and showed a bit more here last time. Safe Voyage completed a double on Tapeta in January but shot up the weights and has looked a couple of pounds high in recent races. Chaplin Bay is reasonably consistent and capable of taking this at his best while Jay Kay has won seven times, though all at a lower level. Tailor's Row has shown his best form on the all-weather so the vote goes to the three-year-old SAINT EQUIANO (NAP). Keith Dalgleish' charge, a winner on only his third start over 6f here in October, will have needed his comeback at Hamilton last month and may prove better than an 82-rated handicapper.
