Verdict
The ground holds the key to this and it may be worth chancing that Teenage Idol - a son of Sadler's Wells - can cope with the conditions better than Heart O' The West and the penalised Autumn Harvest. The last named won in pleasing style on his debut 46 days ago, so obviously has to be respected. However, these are very different conditions and the Flat-bred gelding faces a stiff test in conceding 7lb to his main rivals. Heart O' The West is bred to make an impact over jumps and showed plenty of promise when second at Carlisle last month. Len Lungo does very well with this type of animal and an improved effort would see this son of Tamayaz shake-up the selection. However, Teenage Idol has plenty of ticks in the right boxes and, assuming the market vibes are positive, this 65,000gns purchase can start paying his way at the first time of asking.
