In depth

Verdict

Gordon Elliott complicates the issue by saddling hurdling newcomer Narjawa, a winner for John Oxx at Sligo, and the multiple winner Mae's Choice. The latter, a winning point-to-pointer, is looking a nice staying prospect and made all for a comfortable victory over 2m4f here but the drop in trip could hand the initiative to LUCIA BAY. Lucinda Russell's mare had performed with credit over further before finding the minimum distance to her advantage at Newcastle and may have too much basic speed for her main rival.
