Verdict

This looks wide-open with a speculative vote going to RUN TO THE HILLS. He made a winning start in handicaps on soft going at Thirsk and Adam McNamara’s allowance reduces an 8lb hike in the weights. Mount Tahan went close over track and trip last time but is now 10lb higher than his earlier win at Beverley while Muntadab has failed to figure since winning at Thirsk in July. Sir Billy Wright steps back up in distance and will handle the going while Richard Fahey has sent out both previous winners but Ballymore Castle was well behind Mount Tahan here last time. Lavetta is unpredictable but capable at this level on her day.
