In depth

Verdict

LYDIATE was beaten a couple of lengths when fourth on her debut at Catterick but the runner-up has subsequently won and that looks the strongest form on offer. Picture Painter showed little improvement on his second start when sixth over 7f here and Cheeky Angel was a long way behind the selection last time. Of the newcomers, Rathvale is related to a winning sprinter but Huntlaw is out of a prolific dam and a brother to Group 3 winner Fountain Of Youth.
