      Verdict

Or de Grugy has been a model of consistency of late but Sue Bradburne's gelding faces no easy task having been raised 5lbs for his latest effort and on today's softer ground he looks worth taking on with the vote going to Special Order, who is preferred to Psychic Star. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these over hurdles after just three starts and, while he has yet to translate anything like his best flat form, Lucinda Russell's filly has to be respected off potentially a decent mark. Len Lungo's Roc Tredudon is open to improvement but needs to step up on all known form to trouble the judge. Neutrino has not progressed as much as anticipated and may struggle to give weight away all round, while Inch High has shown only limited signs of ability since being switched to hurdles. The tentative vote then goes to Special Order who admittedly was well held at Kelso last time but had shown promise earlier and looks to be fairly treated for his debut in this grade.
