    Verdict

The vote here goes to Brief Statement, with his main dangers given as Insubordinate and Balwearie. Despite being a pound worse off for the short head that he beat Insubordinate for a his course and distance win last, Brief Statement is lightly raced and open to improvement and, as such, can run well. Even though today's trip might be a little bit on the short side, ideally speaking, Balwearie is also a course and distance winner that can go well if enough use is made of him. Much as he is out of form, there is no doubt that Jordans Elect is now on a potentially-fair mark and cannot be ruled out, while Royal Flynn is another to be on a fair mark but, once again, the trip might be the problem today. Finally, there are also question marks about the trip suitability for Inch High, but Awaken might see the race pan out for his style of running and, accordingly, get amongst the money. Overall, though, the vote stays with Brief Statement.
