In depth

Verdict

Chelsea Annie made it third-time lucky over track and trip three weeks ago but headgear is likely to bring about improvement in the twice-placed RIBALDRY, who gets 3lb from Adrian Keatley’s filly and 6lb from Miss Calculation, who made a winning debut at Doncaster before being outclassed in a Group 3 at Ascot last month. Breaking Light is a full sister to two winners in France so is worth a second look and Merlin's Lady’s is a full sister to the smart Hunting Horn, though bred to excel over middle-distances next year.
