In depth

Verdict

Fashion Statement is recommended ahead of Peintre's Wonder and Naughty Thoughts. Fashion Statement is a fairly imposing individual and while she looks the sort who should improve for a winter on her back, there is plenty to suggest that she'll handle the surface and we shall nominate her for this assignment. Peintre's Wonder ran as if in need of the run when finishing behind the selection at Leicester. The ground would have been plenty fast enough there so improvement should be anticipated. Naughty Thoughts ran a stormer on soft ground in the Watership Stud Stakes. Things happened a little too quickly there so a step up in trip has been sought as a consequence. Voss has a distinct middle distance pedigree and is watched in the market to see if there is any support. Feolin has been tried in much better company thus far and will be qualified for handicaps following this run. Fashion Statement gets the nod.
