In depth
Verdict
Raccoon needs it quick so if the sun continues to infiltrate the monsoon weather, David Chapman's gelding is taken to land the spoils at the main expense of Aye Aye Definitely. The selection is dropped in grade having been running in decent handicaps and is not badly treated at the weights today. Tom Eaves is riding well, and whilst the gelding is yet to run his best races here at Ayr, Raccoon is fancied to land these moderate spoils. Aye Aye Definitely looks the main danger as he is another dropped in grade and is slightly better off with the selection at the weights. He acts on this ground and has run very well at this course before so he must be feared. Lake Chini would have claims on the pick of his form, whilst Indian Spark and Seafield Towers both have winning course form but both are out of sorts at present. Throw The Dice is the only other viable option, however Raccoon looks a class above these and is fancied to win.
