Verdict
Russian Revolution can get losses back over the likes of Zayn Zen, Limit and Consider This in an interesting contest. The Godolphin two-year-olds have been in sparkling form all season and Russian Revolution was expected to add to the tally when sent off as joint-market leader at Newmarket in September. She appeared to be a bit backward but ran a race full of promise in finishing third to Titian Time, and this half-sister to Russian Society should have no problem in opening her account soon. Limit was also well backed on her debut at Haydock just over a fortnight ago and shaped well in third behind Tcherina. Mick Channon's filly will handle the ground today and looks a danger to the selection. Consider This has plenty of experience already, having been placed four times, but maybe does not have the same scope as the two already mentioned, while Zayn Zen comes from a stable doing well with its juveniles but was beaten by a Godolphin inmate at Leicester so Saeed bin Suroor should have a line to work on. Providing that she does not get bogged down here, Russian Revolution, a likeable sort, can open her account.
