In depth
Verdict
Archie Glenn and Aviation are both becoming exposed and preference is for Nota Bene, who showed plenty of promise on his debut and is taken to open his account this afternoon. David Elsworth's colt ran green but still only went down by three-quarters of a length behind Cape Quest, staying on well close home. He should improve for the run and makes more appeal than other once raced colts Babe Maccool and Gimasha. A market move for the Stuart Williams-trained Nodina would be of interest though of grater interest may be Bryn Palling's Inka Dancer. The daughter of Intikhab failed to fulfil the promise of her debut effort at Bath when disappointing at the same venue on her next start but she clearly has ability. Archie Glenn and Aviation are both capable of taking a hand in the finish but Nota Bene ran a race full of promise first time out and is taken to go one better today.
