Verdict
It is not often you see an ex-Godolphin inmate in a seller so we will take a chance on the fitness of Dubai Lightning, who is chosen to beat Rymer's Rascal and Ash Bold. Now with John O'Shea, Dubai Lightning cost the boys in blue 2 million dollars at the sales, but has obviously had his training problems. He hasn't raced since finishing last of nine in a Group three at Nad Al Sheba, but if he retains a small amount of ability he should be good enough to land this weak event. Rymer's Rascal isn't getting any younger but has put up two very good displays in this type of company and should take a hand in the finish. Ash Bold has put up two decent efforts in claimers since returning from a very long holiday and must also merit consideration. Reversionary may prove best of the rest, but in a very tricky contest Dubai Lightning is a speculative selection.
