In depth
Verdict
Mark Johnston has enjoyed probably his best ever season with his two-year-olds and can expand upon his strike-rate with Asiatic in this modest company. Although Makfool hails from a yard that is absolutely flying at present and has to be respected. Devil's Bite also comes from a yard that does well here but has improvement to find after three modest efforts to date. It is also interesting that Rhetorical makes the long journey north for this and could be good value for a place if he shows a modicum of improvement. However, Asia tic's debut run looks to be better than anything else on offer and, with all things considered, the Lomitas colt looks the safest option with the ground in his favour.
