Verdict
Another tough race to call for punters with not much between many of the leading fancies, but Joe Blake, Jardin de Beaulieu and Jakari all have chances and the vote goes to Joe Blake. The gelding from the Len Lungo yard won well last time when defeating Thyneandthyneagain. That form has since been franked and although he is rising in the weights he won in the style of an improver and is taken to score again. Jardin de Beaulieu has won his last two races in good style and defeated Tango Royal last time but he was all out and under his penalty he may now struggle. Jakari looked a progressive sort until disappointing last time at Cheltenham so he could be capable of bouncing back as long as the ground does not become too soft. But Joe Blake looks to be going the right way and will take all the beating.
