Verdict
Ubaltique and De Faoithesdream are hard to fancy in this grade on recent form but the remaining quintet all have some sort of chance. Solar Impulse sprang a surprise in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham but whether he'll be able to replicate the effort on slower ground off a 9lb higher mark is a matter of debate, though the second and fifth ran well at Aintree last week. Always On The Run has won twice since dropping back to two miles but steps straight out of novice company into a Listed race. ULTRAGOLD and Grey Gold look very closely matched on respective defeats of Whispering Harry this season. The latter didn't quite get home over 2m3f last time and races over his best distance today but the former gets the nod with Harry Cobden's claim in his favour. Upsilon Bleu won at Doncaster last month but past form gives him a bit to find with Grey Gold.
