In depth

Verdict

Nina Petrovna came up short when sent off favourite at Kempton recently but another filly in Kilbarchan made a winning start at Chelmsford and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Lord Lamington. Wee Jim got off the mark over today’s trip at Musselburgh and is penalised while Coolagh Magic never threatened when placed at York on his debut but should finish closer in this. KHANMURJAN also needs to improve but this looks easier than his latest task at Newmarket and Ed Dunlop’s Scatt Daddy colt get the vote.
