Verdict

Rock N Rolla won easily at Carlisle but has an 8lb hike to contend with while Odds On Oli may do better returning to today’s distance after disappointing effort over 1m4f. Remember Rocky was narrowly beaten in a lower grade contest here last time but Branscombe was a long way behind the winner when runner-up at Beverley. Maulesden May slips further down the weights but Doon Star is unexposed and so is BLUE MEDICI. The latter has only his second start in a handicap on the back of a fourth at Wetherby where he was hampered in the closing stages. He should go close with a clear run and gets the vote.
