In depth
Verdict
Another bumper rounds off the card and the principals look to be Captain Murphy, Marlborough Sound and Ambition Royal and the tentative vote goes to Marlborough Sound. The selection is a wall bred gelding by Overbury from a yard that does well in this sphere and with the booking of Tony Dobbin catching the eye he will be hard to beat. Captain Murphy rates the main danger as he has plenty of experience and a reproduction of his latest second behind Classic Capers would give him definite place claims. Ambition Royal won well on his debut when defeating Golden Measure but will need to improve again to defy a penalty. Of the remainder Dunnet Head is a well bred gelding by Shernazar and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Marlborough Sound
