Verdict

Vengeur De Guye returned a disappointing favourite at Kelso having been raised 9lb for an earlier win at the same track. Plus Jamais has been raised the same amount for winning over a longer distance here last month but had earlier finished behind AYE WELL over track and trip. The latter is also weighted to reverse Kelso running with Vengeur De Guye and Stuart Coltherd's charge may come out best. Pair Of Jacks looked likely to make the frame at Catterick but unseated after being hampered - he could go well with a clear round.
