Verdict

Little Miss Peppi posted a better effort when runner-up over the minimum trip on soft going at Hamilton a couple of days ago. But there was some cut in the ground when PETRA CELERA also found only one too good at the same track earlier in the month and Karl Burke’s filly is taken to show further progress with the yard in such good form. Misemerald is penalised for winning over a longer trip at Beverley while Terrorise Us, Navy Jack and Beechwood Star, who all finished third on their respective debuts, encounter soft going for the first time.

Terrorise 22-1 (9-4) In touch, pushed along over 2f out, headway under pressure over 1f out, ran on well, nearest finish, 3rd of 8, 3 1/4l behind Ambushed (9-4) at Newcastle 6f stks (4) pol in Jun.

Us Navy Jack (IRE) 8-1 (9-4) In rear, pushed along 3f out, headway on outside final furlong, kept on well in 3rd, 3rd of 10, 3l behind The Good Biscuit (9-4) at Leicester 6f stks (3) gf in Jul.

Petra Celera (IRE) 16-1 (9-0) Held up in rear, headway over 3f out, switched right over 1f out, kept on, went 2nd towards finish, no impression on winner, 2nd of 6, 2 3/4l behind Imperiality (9-2) at Hamilton 6f mdn stks (5) gs in Jul.
