      Verdict

      Hugo De Perro was taking advantage of a lenient mark when scoring at Cartmel in June but had his limitations exposed on his latest start off a 4lb higher mark and may struggle under top weight. Jexel has won both starts over timber to date having won novice events at Kelso and Perth but had nothing to spare on the latter occasion and faces a stiffer task on his handicap bow so the TEAMtalk vote goes to A Few Bob Back. The son of Bob Back is guaranteed to stay the trip in these testing conditions having made a comfortable winning return over 2m6f at Kelso earlier in the month and can overcome a subsequent 7lb rise in a moderate contest.
