In depth

Verdict

Upsilon Bleu, Gilt Shadow and Ueueteotl have all been chasing lately while Bar De Ligne didn't make much of an impression on his belated reappearance. But Rascal has been in fine form having won three of his last four. Border Breaker is also on a hat-trick, though this looks a lot more competitive than his races to date. ROCK THE KASBAH (NAP) did very well to beat two better-fancied rivals over this trip at Newbury last time considering he'd been a bit disappointing in a couple of previous starts. He's still learning his trade so there should be more to come and he's not badly treated on his handicap debut. Orsippus won this in 2013 off a 7lb higher mark but he's been a shadow of his former self this season.
