In depth
Verdict
Weather Front appears to have gone off the boil but Ashington was positively ridden stepped up to 2m4f at Sedgefield and won easily so warrants respect. Leostar was also a winner last time, at Kelso, but Saint Sonnet has a bit to prove at present. Enemy Coast Ahead has had wind surgery since rattling up a hat-trick last summer but he may just need this. WETLANDS handled good to soft when winning in a canter at Carlisle so we’ll take the chance that he copes with this surface on his handicap debut given he is still heading in the right direction, unlike Bass Rock.
