    Verdict

Practically all the newcomers look of interest and the market may sort them out, but we'll stay with those with experience for the selection. Fantastic Fox made a pleasing debut when a big-field third last backend, whilst Snow Lantern is pitched in against the boys for her reappearance. The beautifully-bred filly - both parents were Guineas winners - has not been seen since posting a promising second at Ascot last July behind Zabeel Queen. She looks one to follow this term but the same comment applies to DERAB and he is just preferred. A half-brother to Enable, the Juddmonte colt ran a fine second to La Barrosa on his sole start last term, the form of which has already been impressively franked by the latter running a fine second in the Craven Stakes on Thursday.
