An open handicap to round off the two-day meeting and a chance is taken with Richard Fahey's raider, SPIRIT DANCER, who landed a first career success last August in a modest Ripon maiden. He was then upped into Class 2 handicaps, performing well on both occasions and starts his new campaign off a feasible mark of 85. Aaddeey is a similar type with just three runs on the board and the Crisford gelding seems sure to progress this time around after showing more than enough promise last season. Inchicore and Ridgeway are also possible improvers with Mr Poy, Flyin' Solo and By Starlight others will little mileage on the clock for four-year-olds. It all makes for a tricky affair with so many unexposed types, with Amir Kabir suggested as best of the more experienced brigade.
