Tony Tie is a tentative choice in this handicap, with Commitment Lecture, Ulysees, Cordage, Arnprior and Anthemion all afforded respect. Tony Tie ran respectably from today's mark over course and distance last time and this course and distance winner certainly has place claims again today. Commitment Lecture was a length and three quarters behind him there, but was staying on after missing the break. Ulysees has won here and was staying on over course and distance on his most recent run and has to be granted respect. Cordage has not fully built on earlier promise but, still lightly raced, might go well at today's shorter trip than for recent outings. Trevian was staying on well at Windsor last time and, over this longer trip given that he is reasonably weighted at best, he could present a threat to all. Arnprior improved for the step up in trip to win at Hamilton last time and could have more to come. Anthemion was given an excellent ride by his young rider at Hamilton four days ago and could yet make them all go again. However, we will give the slightly speculative vote to Tony Tie.
