Verdict

Bardo Contiguo is in danger of becoming disappointing and the lack of a recent run may hamper Silver Dust and Mischief Managed but Woodside Wonder won at Catterick nine days ago and attempts to defy a penalty. EMPLOYER hasn’t been running badly and races off the same mark as when third at Thirsk 12 days ago. Jim Goldie’s charge gets a tentative vote even though Ventura Royal returned to winning ways at Musselburgh last month. Equidae and Ascot Week have each-way claims but dual course winner Roaring Forties struggles to stay a mile.
