      Verdict

David O’Meara has won the last two renewals and sends Shelir, who won nicely at Thirsk recently and is 5lb higher. But BRUNCH is the more progressive having now won four of only six outings after landing a decent handicap at York and Michael Dods’ charge looks worth sticking with. Johan ran below par behind the selection at York but Zwayyan is capable at this level and can figure. Course regular Nicholas T has won seven times here and is not badly treated while Irreverent looks best of three Fahey runners though could only manage fourth in this last year.
