It was heavy going when Lucky Lucky Man won last year’s renewal off a higher mark but he went close on good ground at Thirsk last time and is still preferred to Wasntexpectingthat of Richard Fahey’s four runners. The latter and Look Out Louis finished behind PENDLETON earlier this month when Michael Dods’ charge finished runner-up in a decent sprint at York in first-time headgear. He gets the vote to go close again with further progress on the cards. Shallow Hal posted a better effort in a tougher contest at York back in June and makes more appeal than stablemate Dizzy G, who was due to run here yesterday.
