In depth
Verdict
Kalahari King is impossible to oppose here with Silver By Nature and Kyoto Summit rating the main dangers. The selection ran well when fourth behind the highly regarded Rippling Ring last time out considering he had a cut leg. This looks easier and under conditions that suit he need only put in a clear round to regain the winning thread. Silver By Nature rates the main danger on his best form but he was slightly disappointing behind La Vecchia Scuola last time out and is taken on with this in mind. Kyoto Summit was third behind Kealshore Boy last time and has definite place claims but he will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie. Of the remainder Salsero hails from the in-form Nicky Richards yard but it is interesting that stable jockey rides the selection Kalahari King.
