A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the main protagonists look to be Nevada Red, Jeringa and Stravaigin and the vote is given to Nevada Red. The selection has been in good form without winning of late but a reproduction of his latest second behind Master Sebastian looks rock solid, his stable continue in good form and he looks the one to be on. Jeringa rates the main danger on his latest second behind Sea Cadet but he would not want the ground to dry out too much. Stravaigin was a fair second behind Kalmo Bay last time out and looks sure to improve for the longer trip so he could go well at a price. Of the others Ocarina could improve for the fitting of first time cheek pieces while Benbeoch looks well weighted on his best form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the reliable Nevada Red.
