Verdict

Gulshanigans is looking one-paced but was only beaten half-a-length over this trip at Ludlow in January. Trongate has been knocking on the door but Capard King hasn’t run over hurdles since winning at this meeting two years ago when 4lb lower. Recent winners Doctor Look Here and Jac The Legend probably need to improve again to follow up while quicker conditions won’t suit the hat-trick seeking Vasco D'ycy. Full Jack is very interesting off a lower weight, however, and could be the danger to BEER GOGGLES. The Devon raider has returned to form with a vengeance lately and a strongly-run race on a galloping track like this is ideal.
