Verdict

Cato Capone won at Punchestown last November but only beat one home at Leopardstown the following month. Champagne Admiral disappointed at Gowran on his second start but Luckie Seven won at Doncaster last month and Impatient found only one too good when favourite on debut at Newcastle. GIACOSA finished behind Slugger here in February but it would be no surprise to see Stuart Crawford's Shantou gelding turn that form on its head today with that run under his belt.
