          Verdict

          Jim Goldie has a good record in this and runs four with STAR CRACKER preferred. The latter had stablemate Brendan back in fourth when scoring at Newcastle recently and remains 8lb lower than when beaten a neck in last year’s renewal. Ruth Carr is mob-handed with five runners and Paul Hanagan partners Loulin, who has yet to win but slips further down the weights and makes more appeal than stable companion Cupid's Arrow. Mr Shelby has placed over the minimum trip at Musselburgh the last twice but the Irish raider Tai Sing Yeh has only won a maiden so far though is another sliding down the handicap along with Ninjago.
