      Verdict

      Middleham Peacock is progressing with experience and followed up a Musselburgh maiden victory with an impressive performance to land a nursery over 7f here last week. The drop in trip should not be a problem for the son of Revoque who should be able to defy a 6lb penalty against weak opposition. This trip should suit recent maiden winner Eastern Scarlet who looks the main danger with Clocking Off and Evangelist both stepping up in class.
