    Verdict

Gangland made all at Beverley and is the likely pace angle in this. He may be a better bet that stablemate Regulator, second last time at Catterick, despite a 5lb rise. Maksab held off good yardstick Yafta in a higher grade last time at Newmarket but has another 6lb to carry here. HUMBLE GRATITUDE was back on song at Haydock 10 days ago and that should have given his confidence a boost. He’s gone up 7lb for that but Clifford Lee claims back almost half of that and Karl Burke’s charge is worth sticking with. Byron's Choice got up in the shadows of the past at Catterick but this looks tougher and Three Saints Bay was well beaten on his handicap debut at York.
